Set in the picturesque Dee Valley, about a 35 minute drive away, is the Tongland Family Golf Centre, which has stunning views surrounding the entire 9-hole parkland course.
St. Medan Golf Club at Monreith is one of the most stunning locations for a coastal 9-hole golf course anywhere in Scotland, with views seaward to the Isle of Man. Look out for the bronze otter statue on the drive down to the course in memory of the 'Ring of Bright Water' and 'Tarka the Otter' author Gavin Maxwell, who spent much of his childhood near Monreith.

New Galloway Golf Club is a delightful, 2270 yard, 9 hole golf course located in South West Scotland. It is a gem among rural courses in Scotland and noted for its superb natural greens and views.
